Housekeeping Manager

Location: nhow Amsterdam RAI Hotel
Hours: 32 to 40 hours

CSU Hotel Services is looking for a Housekeeping Manager for the nhow RAI Hotel in Amsterdam. With its 650 rooms, the brand new nhow Amsterdam RAI Hotel, built to an iconic design, is the largest newly built hotel in the Benelux. Its innovative design makes this hotel a true eye-catcher. The hotel is located near to the Amsterdam RAI and offers a unique and trendy lifestyle concept. It focuses primarily on guest experience, with room design inspired by the six wind directions.

You will manage the Housekeeping staff and guarantee the quality of the work that they do. You will do this by:

• Managing your team of employees and dividing work and tasks among them
• Directing a team of at least 70 employees, providing instructions, and checking the quality and progress of their work
• Organizing staffing levels, assessing new employees, and supervising them during their probationary period and induction training
• Ensuring that the work is carried out in the best manner possible, according to an effective schedule, so that the highest quality is achieved
• Managing customer relationships, whereby regular meetings are held with the customer

Who are we looking for?
The position of Housekeeping Manager could be your new job if you are someone who:

• Has extensive experience in the cleaning sector/hotel industry (experience working in a medium-sized hotel is an advantage)
• Speaks good Dutch and/or English
• Lives in Amsterdam or the surrounding area
• Is available 32 to 40 hours per week (also at weekends)
