A Belgian based engineering company with more than 50 years of experience in the world of signalling and railway transport. For the expansion of this activity, they are looking for a Project Engineer in order to complete the team
Your responsabilities as a Project Enginner will be:
- Technical Assistance for the railway, tram and metro sector
- Coordination between suppliers (e.g. German suppliers) and end customers
- Project Management (administrative, financial, technical, planning, security, etc...)
- Active participation on construction sites as a technical specialist (actively go to the field to carry out projects in cooperation with the operational entities)
- Follow-up of work site according to milestone
- Participate in site meetings, write reports and resolve site specific issues (technical, administrative and safety)
- Performing specific technical maintenance tasks on the job site
- Implementation and acceptance of projects in cooperation with the end customer
- Solve technical problems
- Preparation and elaboration of offers in cooperation with the manufacturers/suppliers according to public tenders
- (Partial) translation of tenders, specification and training courses, technical support for the preparation of tenders
- Collaborate in the development of the team
Requirements: Your Profile.
- You hold a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering (Mechanical, Electromechanical or Electrical)
- You are perfect trilingual (English, Dutch and French). German is a plus
- You have a good knowledge of IT (it is a plus if you are able to draw in 2D/3D)
- You have previous experience in project management and electromechanical project
- You can work in Brussels and you have have your driving license to work across Belgium and abroad
- You have strong leadership qualities
- You are pragmatic, solution oriented, customer and service focused
- You have a commercial spirit: team player, communication skills, strong persuasive and analytical skills
