What will you be doing?

As a part-time customer service employee in Arcen, you work at a company that specialises in flowers, plants, trees and horticulture products. Your job? Answering incoming calls and emails. In Dutch, English, French or German. Two languages is a must, only the combination of Dutch and English is not enough.

How does that work exactly?

Simple. Together with 25 other colleagues, you’re there to help out all customers. The company is in charge of the entire logistical process: from buying products and selling them to delivering it to the customers. But, a lot of moving parts mean a lot of information, questions and potential complaints. That’s where you come in.

Whether it’s about an incorrect invoice or extra information on a certain type of tree. You make yourself familiar with the situation, ask as many questions as you can and find a suitable solution. Good to know: each week there’s a landscaper present, to whom you can pass on any specific customer questions. Found the answer? It’s up to you to pass it on to the customer.

Onboarding

Working hours

You can work 20, 24, 28 or 32 hours a week as a part-time customer service employee in Arcen. From Monday to Friday between 8am and 8pm, and on Saturday between 8am and 5pm. It’s important that you can work at least one evening a week and several Saturdays a year.

Working from home is possible, but it’s mandatory to work at least one shift a week at the office. In addition, March, April, May, September, October and November are especially busy. That’s why you will work 20 percent more on average during these months.
