Traineeship Supply Chain/Sourcing

Stryker offers a Full-Time Rotational Development Program where selected high-caliber college graduates are provided with the experience and knowledge essential for a career within Supply Chain, Strategic Sourcing, or Integrated Business Planning (IBP). Uniquely, this program allows our students the opportunity for a hybrid developmental experience to rotate globally at least 3 times into various roles within Supply Chain, Sourcing or IBP over a 2 year period. Rotations are based in corporate, factory and field (distribution center, customer service, customer facing) locations in New Jersey, Michigan, and Amsterdam.

  • Our campus program is designed to develop the future leaders of Stryker. These highly sought after opportunities are comprehensive, interactive and strategically integrated into the departmental divisions of Supply Chain, Strategic Sourcing, and Integrated Business Planning. We are looking to hire students with the right mix of talent and enthusiasm -- with proven leadership skills, strong analytical and communication skills, and individuals with the ability to work in a team setting are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • You will receive formal training and learn exercises that span the end-to-end Supply Chain in the areas of Deployment, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Manufacturing, and Customer Service as well as Procurement. Throughout the program, you will experience hands-on learning at a Stryker location with an opportunity to experience manufacturing or distribution center locations during your rotations.
  • You'll be hired into a function and develop your leadership skills by working on live projects which offer you all the experience you need to become ready for your first management role. At the heart of it, it's about developing tomorrow's leaders, today.
  • During each rotational assignment participants will be responsible for: Participating in various project teams- In some cases manage own vendor portfolio and have responsibility for purchase orders.- Issuing weekly reports and metrics- Attending and participating in business reviews- Participating in supplier visits- Completing data integrity exercises as required- Observing external supplier audits- Presenting their learning outcomes at assignment review forums on a regular basis- Handle a RFP process.
