You will be required to process a minimum quantity of documents per week.

About us:

At Scipat Benelux BV we specialize in:

• Translation, on demand per document in several languages.
• Alerting, setting up profiles based on IPC classification against IP infringement.

Our services are mainly used for Scientific and Intellectual Property purposes.

For the translation part of our business we are looking for students who can do freelance translation work for us. Scipat Benelux BV specializes in on demand translations, which means we have cases with 1 translation a week but we can also have about 100 weekly. Therefore we would like to setup a group of students who are willing to work at random times. As a Technical Translator you will be translating technical documents from Japanese into English.

Requirements:

• HBO or WO (University) level of education
• Excellent understanding of the Japanese language (written and spoken)
• Excellent understanding of the English language (written and spoken)
• Fast and accurate translating abilities, according to our specifications
• Background in Biology, Engineering (IT) or Chemistry
• Able to work as well in a team as by yourself
• Motivated attitude
• Responsible
