Senior Art-Director / Designer

Within the Marketing department we are looking for an Art Director / designer who will create, develop and execute communication concepts for G-Star. The Art Director / designer will be part of the G-Star Creative Department, working in close collaboration with the Creative Director.

The Creative Department is G-Stars internal creative agency within the Marketing department, a – through the line – in house service center that is responsible for G–Stars global brand communication and works in close collaboration with the other creative cells in the organisation.

We are looking for a senior creative to support our team generating 360 concepts and translating those into outstanding communication pieces. You have a passion for the denim industry and are interested in integrated communication which ranges from print, retail design to digital. Tasks and Responsibilities
- translating a creative brief into 360 integrated concepts, creating a cohesive story and image with all other G-Star marketing activities
- taking part in creative sessions regarding new activities and experiences to enhance our communications from a creative perspective
- collaborating with the creative and (digital) marketing teams to develop design guidelines
- present ideas and inspire others
- hands on design to visualize ideas and craft presentation

- BA in Design, Digital Design or Fine Art
- 5+ years of experience in Design and Art Direction
- experience in an international Retail/Fashion brand is a big plus
- understanding of customer priorities and needs
- expertise in Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign
- ability to handle multiple priorities with tight deadlines
- capability to think out of the box
