As Junior Accountant you are mainly responsible for the collection of accounts receivable (AR) and Intercompany (IC). You will provide accurate information to customers and if the job is performed correctly-it adds value to general Customer Satisfaction.

Recording of administration entries are a large part of your day-to-day work. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in accounting principles and able to work comfortably with numbers and attention to detail.

As a Junior Accountant you contribute to the overall efficient operation of the department and help the company be fully aware of its financial condition. This way it can make the right decisions and accomplish long term success.

Main tasks and responsibilities

Operational Tasks:

• Credit control;
• Keep track of shipment payments and quotas;
• Meeting the deadline for the monthly closing of Accounts Receivable;
• Daily booking and reconciliation of bank statements in our bank system.

External responsibilities (Clients and Partners):

• Responsible for the maintenance of contacts with customers;
• Control of Accounts Receivable and other third party payment companies;
• Creating Accounts Receivable reports on weekly basis;
• Clean and update sub ledger Accounts Receivable. 

Internal Responsibilities:

• On time payment or collecting from IC offices;
• Check payments to and from IC offices with the administration;
• Clean and update sub ledger AR and AP for IC offices;
• On time registration of payments and receivables including IC offices in our administration;
• Keep in contact with IC office by e-mail and telephone;
• Book payments and receivables including IC offices in our administration.

• MBO, with at least one year accounting experience.
