We are an English family but have lived here a long time, the kids were born here and so fluent in Dutch. We are expats and have mainly used our relations for babysitting when visiting but we would like someone local to rely on for occasional evenings out. The kids are typical brother and sister, great friends "most of the time", both will be quiet until they get to know you and then full of energy and funny.
